Day 1

I was born in the early morning on December 20, 1981, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I'm sure my Mama was excited to not spend Christmas in the hospital.  I was and will always be known as a "Christmas Baby". I hate it! That's a story  for another day. I have one brother who is 18 months younger than I am. I was an accident, he was planned. My parents were divorced when I was four, my dad passed away when I was 11. I lived in various suburbs of the Twin Cities my whole life.

I dropped of out high school at 17. I started working at Blockbuster Video, became a Store Manger, and wanted to that for the rest of my life. I never had plans to go to college. One day I got sick of the corporate world and ended up at college, studying Business Administration. I was offered a job at the college I went to. I've been working in Higher Education ever since. My dream job is to be an event planner.

For now I'll settle with having my dream man.  I met Ryan though friends over three years ago. We love sporting events, University of Minnesota Football, comedy clubs, seeing movies, and watching endless amounts of TV.

At 29 we  moved down to Springfield, Missouri for one year, the whole reason this blog was started. Six months ago we came home and promised we would never leave Minnesota again. Except to take road trips out in the Wild, Wild, West.

We have the cutest, best behaving Yorkie pup named Dexter Morgan.

my happy family
