this weekend I/weekend update

My weekend started early last week, on Thursday I went to the Jake Owen "Summer Never Ends" tour.  His opening acts were Florida Georgia Line and Love & Theft. I love, love, love Jake Owen he puts on a great show. I saw him last year at the same venue, when we was the opening act for (my boy-friend) Luke Bryan and Lee Brice. It was great to see him on his first headlining tour.

Friday night started off at Burrito Loco an ahmayzzzing burrito joint not to far from my work.  I had chicken quesdialls and an Angry Orchard (on tap).  I love that more and more bars have the hard cider on tap. Finally my friend Amanda arrived to celebrate her 25th birthday.  It was great to see Amanda, I hadn't seen her in over a year.  We worked together at a company a couple years back. Our cubes were right next to each other. I saw some other previous co-workers and caught up with them and their life.

We left a couple hours later to get to Housewarming party.  I'm glad we stayed longer than we had planned to. It started to snow during rush hour, we didn't have any traffic while heading home. Did a quick change, let Dexter out and went back out into the snow. The roads had started to get worse, but we made it safe and sound. It was nice to see some friends we hadn't seen in a while.

it was still snowing on our way home. We've missed the snow. I'm sure I will be cursing the snow in a few weeks.

Saturday we made the mistake   ran some errands, including a stop at Target on a Saturday, three weeks before Christmas. BIGGGG MISSSTAKKEEE! We made it out alive and went to get my cast taken off! Finally after five weeks I can use my thumb again.  It is still very stiff and swollen. I still have to wear a brace for three weeks-but I don't care. Much better than a cast.

It was really starting to snow and we knew it might snow up to 10 inches so we hit up the Redbox.  Surprisingly we watched all three movies we rented (reviews coming next week)

Sunday Ryan made me pancakes and served them to me in bed.  Amazing! After that we took Dexter for a walk in the snow. He lovesss the snow!
