our love story-( my first link-up)

1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
Almost two years. It will be officially two years on May 5.

2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?}
We met through my friend who dated his best-friend. I actually sent him an email through Facebook, a couple weeks before our friends thought to set us up. I saw him in the photos on his best-friends Facebook and thought "he's kinda cute, and totally my type".

My email said something uber cheesy like "hey I think you're kinda cute, we should grab a drink sometime."
To make a long story short, I never received an email back from him (he claims he never got it.)

A couple weeks later my friend was like go on ______ Facebook and look at so and so. It was the guy. We all met for dinner and drinks. The rest is history.

3. If married, how long have you been married? If not, is this the guy you hope to marry? {do tell
Yes, I really hope to get married to Ry-guy. We've talked about it. Well I've talked about it and he's listened-ha! I'm kidding, we've talked about it.

4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?  If not, where would you like to get married?
I hope to get married in Minnesota around all our friends and family. If not there, maybe someplace on the beach or something fabulous like that. Maybe even a barn wedding with a BBQ.
And will it be big or small? I would like it to be as big as we can afford!

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share!
We have tons, boo bear, bubba, boobtube, boo, lover, mister, and several other ones I can't seem to recall right now.

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
His sense of humor, he respects me, he really would do anything for me.

7. Tell us how he proposed? Or your ideal proposal?
I don't really care how he does it. I just want it to be the right time and we're both ready for it.

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberrieschampagne, and rose petals
He's more the practical gift giver. If I need something he will get that for me. He doesn't think we should even celebrate Valentine's day. So we are doing it this year only. We missed the boat last year and that was a-okay with me.

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?  Movie on the couch kinda gal. Or most of the time sporting event gets turned on, which is fine by me. We love watching sports together.

10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?
I would take him on a road trip out West. So I can show him all the amazing places I've been in my life. Grand Canyon, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Glacier, Mesa Verde, Rocky Mountain National Parks. We would also hit up Deadwood, SD, Mount Rushmore, Jackson Hole, WY, and Devil's Tower.

11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day. I don't really know what we are planning.
I'm sure he'll make dinner (he's a great cook) and we will hang out and watch Glee.

12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day?
I asked from some practical, yet boring things.

13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.
Being open and willing to try new things. Don't get scared about those new things. Always remember you have someone right there with you to catch you if you fall.

14.  Show us a picture of what love means to you

I love hearing from you. Thanks for taking the time to read about Dexter Morgan and his adventures.
