Guest Blogger-Dexter Morgan

Hey guys it's Dexter Morgan here.

I will tell you about my parents. My mom loves me a lot. I can tell she writes about me a lot. She is always taking pictures of me, and giving me smooches. Sometimes its more than one dog can handle. I do know that I have a lot to be thankful for with such a great Mama, and don't forget about my super cool Papa. He doesn't smother me with love and smooches as much as Mama, but I know he loves me a lot.

I wanted to share my day with you, what I do, when I do it and how I do it. Okay well most of the time I walk on all fours and do things but sometimes I get really excited and walk on my back legs, my parents are so proud of me when I do this.  I get extra treats.

I normally get woken up by my Papa when he wakes Mama up for work around 6:20-6:30am.  I am so not a morning person. In fact most of the time Mama gets ready for work. This means she is going  to leave me all alone (with Papa) for the day. I stay in bed.

My cousins get up early and they like to go outside and play. I hate it, they bark all morning long. I just want to sleep!

When Mama is ready to head out the door I race to the door faster than she can, hoping she takes me with her. She never does. I have to give her some smooches as she heads out the door. I hate it! I really like going for car rides. Only another nine hours till I see my Mama again

Now Papa likes his sleep so we head back to bed for a couple hours, unless Papa is trying to impress Mama and do some cleaning and tiding up the house. Or when Mama makes a list for him to do. She does that more and more. This interrupts my day of doing nothing.

Once we get back into bed I sleep for as long as I can. I never seem to get enough sleep.

There is always something going on at my house. My cousins barking. Papa vacuuming (which scares me half to death) the T.V. blaring. You name it, its so loud in my house.

A couple hours into my nap, Mama calls Papa they normally discuss something about food and dinner. I can smell it. With Papa not having a job, yet... he makes Mama some pretty yummie meals. I sometimes can convince Mama to give some of what she is having. Papa can be tough though. He doesn't like to share.

Finally, my Mama comes home. I race to the door faster than my cousins to greet my Mama from her long hard day of work. We smooch until my Mama thinks we're done. Then we go off and play a little before dinner, just me and my Mom. She goes to eat dinner with Papa. They talk about adult things. Then we curl up on the couch and read a book or watch TV. After we get done with that we get ready for bed and start the day all over again.
